At Ancient Syntax LLC, we believe that language learning is a transformative journey that connects us to history, culture, and new ways of thinking. Meet Philip Soen
Philip Soen, originally from Chicago, studied philosophy and ancient Greek at Taylor University before completing advanced work in Hebrew and Aramaic at Reformed Theological Seminary. He later fell in love with German during graduate studies and continues to cultivate a multilingual life. He is currently writing a doctoral dissertation on anthropology in the New Testament.
Philip brings a creative, conversational approach to language learning and delights in sharing coffee, good conversation, and novels in Greek and German.
